High-Precision Machining for Small & Complex Parts
Our Swiss CNC machining service at CMS is focused on making small, complicated parts with great stability and high accuracy. We have 10 Swiss-type CNC machines with a capacity of Ø32 mm and automated production lines that let us make parts with tolerances as low as ±0.005 mm. We can deliver up to 5,000 parts per day, making CMS a great partner for both prototype and high-volume production in the medical, electronics, automotive, and instrumentation industries.
Learn More About SWISS CNC Machining

What is SWISS CNC Machine?
SWISS CNC machine, also called SWISS CNC lathe, is a type of precision machining equipment that can do drilling, boring, tapping, carving, and other combined machining tasks at the same time. It is mostly used to process precision hardware and shafts in large batches. And other parts that don’t have a standard shape. When compared to similar products, the CNC lathes in the CNC machining workshop are much more efficient and accurate at what they do.

How does SWISS CNC machine work?
The current machine tool doesn’t need to rotate and switch the tool. Instead, you just need to move the props up and down and left and right, and the parts can be processed by the spinning spindle and fed more than once. So, compared to a traditional lathe, the centering machine can use the center guide sleeve to make products with more accuracy. This makes it possible to process parts for thin shafts in a better way.

SWISS Machining Tips
Lathe cutting tools types: turning, facing, boring, grooving, threading & parting — with tool material selection, geometry (rake, nose radius) & surface finish guide.
What is CNC turning: how it works, tolerances ±0.010–0.025 mm, turning vs milling, operations (threading, boring, grooving) & DFM guidelines for round parts.
CNC turning, which stands for "computer numerical control," is a way to make cylindrical parts that are very precise and accurate. In CNC turning, a computer-controlled machine tool turns a workpiece while a cutting tool removes material from the workpiece to make the desired shape.
